March 2004 Archives

Here's that short story I was telling you about:
A strange saucer-like object hovered over a small crowd of people. A bright green light came out of the bottom of the saucer and slowly beamed up the screaming people. Inside the saucer there were strange looking creatures, which were picking apart the people that were still trying to get free. The gasses were getting to those people, putting them to sleep so that the creatures could pick them apart in peace, and then everything went dark. The people in the theater looked at each other with strange looks on their faces, even though they couldn't see each other. In fact, they couldn't see anything; not even the red exit signs that were over the doors leading back to the hallway. Willard, a 14-year-old boy who was there with his best friend, Seymour, was terrified because he was afraid of just about everything. He wondered whether or not this power outage was normal, or if it had just happened in order to distract people so that evil penguins could take over the world. It was really normal, but you can always count on Willard to think of the worst case scenario, even if it's the most far-fetched thing you've ever heard. One time, he was even convinced that the monkeys in the local zoo were plotting to come out and destroy the earth, but that was probably only because he saw Planet of the Apes the night before. Willard sat there shivering, not because of the cold, but because of his discomfort in the darkness. "Seymour?" he said. "What's going on?" "Nothing really," said Seymour in return, "the power just turned off. It was probably just the circuit breaker. Do movie theaters even have circuit breakers?" "I just hope it comes--" he stopped short; the power had just came back, and the room was filled with a bright light, or it looked like that to Willard, since his eyes had adjusted to the pitch black. An announcement was made over the speaker system, "We're sorry for the technical difficulties, We cannot start the movies once again because power has not been restored where the projectors are. If you would like a refund, please come to the main desk. Thank you." "Well, I guess we should just leave, the refund line will probably be too long," said Seymour, "were you afraid of sitting there in the dark?" "Nah, I was just cold," said Willard, "I'm not that stupid!" "I heard you shivering! You're wearing a winter jacket!" He didn't have any response to that, so they both just walked out quietly. When Willard got home, nobody was there. He was beginning to get a little scared, because he didn't like being home alone, so he went to his room, closed the door, turned on the radio, and got in bed to lay down. About an hour later, his mom got home from work. She works late, and doesn't have much time to spend with Willard. However, he accepts that she needs to work hard. His father never went to college, so he doesn't really have a good job. He's mostly at bars, or at home drunk, and nobody ever disturbs him when he's drunk. That night, he needed to go to school, because he's in Orchestra, and they have a concert. "Willard!" his mother said, "Get in the car, you're going to be late!" "Ok, ok, just let me get down!" he responded. "Fine, I'll be waiting in the car." "Ok." When he got down, he went outside and got in the car. His mother was already there, even though it had been only 3 minutes since their short little conversation. It took them twenty minutes to get to his school so they got there at 7:18. Willard's mother was fairly rushed, because she knew that there would be no seats. Everybody always gets there about an hour early, and the concert starts at 7:30. The concert started, and everything was going as planned, but Willard was sure something would go wrong. Something always has to go wrong to Willard, and if nothing goes wrong, then that's what went wrong. So if you see it Willard's way, there is always something that goes wrong. Something went wrong. The lights all went out during the middle of the last song, and because of the way the auditorium was built, there were no windows and therefore no source of light. Willard found himself in the dark, again. Willard shrieked. Not like an "AHHHH" shriek, but like one of those high-pitched, girly, and squeaky shriek. It was loud, and everybody who was there was wondering, "Where the heck did that come from?" but not exactly in those words. Willard started to talk to himself, try to calm himself down. "Ok Willard, it's ok, Willard," he said, "don't panic. It's only another power outage, or a circuit breaker again. Wait, who am I kidding? WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!!!! ALL OF US!!!" He then ran out of the room, plowing over everyone in the way and smashed himself into a wall. He then got up, and ran once again, smashing himself into the wall. This time, however, he did not get up. When he woke up, he found himself in a huge white room. At first he thought it was just the light, but then he felt the floor, and the walls. They were soft.

I had a really strange day today. It was just, weird. I was so incredibly bored in some of my classes it's not even funny, and this is coming from me, the hyper kid. Well, my entry should be good, so I think I'll start. Yes? good.

When bordom strikes, I am known to do strange things and get extremely hyper. For instance, in Italian (9th period), I found myself with my little "Benign-Thoughts" binder open doodleing. Now, it isn't that I was doodleing, but it was that my doodles were of those little picturesAnother something. Wow, I'm on a roll! I put on every one of my entries (well, almost every one of them). I don't know why, but I'm getting better at it freehand so perhaps I may post one of them sometime soon.

Remember that short story? Well guess what? I got an "A" on it. Everybody in my class loved it when my teacher read it. Coming from her, it sounded like a professional writer wrote it! I guess blogging DOES pay off after all. haha, I'll have to post it here one of these days, but I wasn't expecting to get an "A" on it. I didn't even plan it, what I wrote just sort of came out, like these words. Sometimes I plan, but most of the time I don't. There's just another unusual thing about me.

Parents reading my blog? Yeah, my parents found out about this and now they read it. My dad actually said that my blog was OK. Coming from him, it's a huge compliment, but I just want you to know that even if they DO read it, I'm not going to change anything about it.

Oh well, I'm done for today. I think I posted some good stuff, but I should have written more. I guess tomorrow I'll try to post a lot more, like maybe double. Over the next few days, I'll be staying after school, so friday I'll be able to have my short story up. That's it. Bye!

Site of the day: Iconator: a great place to get AIM icons!
Well, I don't know how long this post is gonna be but I'll try to make it a good one. I'm not sure exactly what to talk about, so I think I'll start with some Wind Ensamble junk.

I have a concert tonight. It's for Wind Ensamble, and well, it's not really a concert. We're just playing some crap for the national junior honor societyWhee! I love fractals! induction ceremony. We'll be playing the processional, the Star Spangled Banner, and Simple Gifts which has nothing to do with anything so yeah,

Fun with Fractals! Well, while playing around with The GIMP, I realized that I could make great images that look just as good as the ones I've made in the past by using Fractals. It's a lot faster, and tons easier once you get the hang of it. From now on, I'll do that instead of making them myself because I'm too lazy :). In case you were wondering what it says on the picture to the right, it says "/me loves fractals". I put /me because I'm an IRC geek and in IRC, when you put "/me" it replaces it with your name. So in IRC, that would say "*Louis loves fractals

What the hell ARE you thinking anyway? Well, even THAT I don't even know. My mind works very strangely, and the reason why I picked What the hell am I thinking? as my little slogan thingie is because sometimes I forget what I was thinking a second before. Yeah Caitlin, you saw this happen on the bus a while ago. It doesn't happen often, but my mind doesn't work like other minds do, so I don't know. Then again, I don't really know how other minds work because this is the only mind I've ever had. Maybe I should be a psycologist or a philosopher when I get older.

What do I want to be when I get older anyway? Well, Caitlin knows that I definately want to be a Math teacher, but what about my other choices? I may want to become a Judge because I think that I'm fair and I have good judgement. Besides, Judges get paid big-time. I may also want to become a philosopher or even a programmer. I know they're big differences but yeah. Oh well, I'm done for today, and I think I blogged long enough. I may add some more later, but I probobly won't. Bye!

Site of the day: DeviantArt

I spent all morning today and all last night working on getting FluxBox to work as my default GUI.My current desktop: click for actual size So far, it's working great and faster than anything. I've uploaded a screenshot of what my desktop currently looks like, except for the background because it's a picture of Caitlin and I don't really think she'd like a picture of her on the internet. So I changed the background just for this screenshot.

Sorry about not finishing my post yesterday... When I got back from Annie (with my cousins, I'll explain later), my dad turned off my internet so that I couldn't do anything on my computer. Luckily since I switched to FluxBox instead of KDE I was able to keep working without the internet and things didn't keep freezing.
Cool!
I saw Annie (again) yesterday! Well, you might be asking "why did you see it twice?", so I'll answer that. My cousin is one of the orphans in the play, so I decided to go this way I could compare the two plays. It turns out that at my school the people sing better and it sounds a LOT better, but at her school they have much more elaborate sets and stuff like that. They also left out too many scenes.

Well, I got to see my cousins TWO DAYS in a row! It was fun, but some of them are just too immature. I made this video to show Caitlin (I'll show her tomorrow), and Brianna keeps on jumping in front of the camera saying "monkeys rock". It's soooo funny, but very annoying.

I'm having some problems with the wordpress today. When I try editing a post, the page doesn't work right. Hopefully this'll be fixed soon, or maybe it's just FluxBox. I dunno.

Well, that's all for today! I may blog some more layer, but I don't want to keep writing right now. Bye!

Site of the day: Orisinal. I'm letting this site get the site of the day award because it has the cutest little games in the world. My little sister's obsessed with the piggie game.

Party!!!!!

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

I'm having my birthday party today and everything's gonna be so cool. You see, some of my cousins are going to come over tonight. If all of my cousins came, I wouldn't be able to fit everyone in the house, so yeah. Anyway, it should be interesting so I'll post more about it later or tomorrow.

Yesterday someone I know had an argument with the English teacher. He is like, my arch nemisis. I hate him because a few years ago he tried to erm.. grab me somewhere private. Personally, I have no problemSpikey! who are gay or bi or whatever as long as they don't do anything like that. Anyway, the teacher assigned us a project that wasn't due until the friday after Spring Break, and guess what? He had a fit. He was arguing about how she shouldn't assign projects over the break, but I don't really see the point he's trying to make because Spring Break isn't until a couple more weeks and the project can be done in less than two hours. Hell, less than ONE hour. The teachers rescheduled a project once just to appease him (the kid), and now he's going crazy, just like Hitler did, so yeah.

Ok, people are here. I should go now, but I'll try my best to post some more stuff later. I'm sorry I haven't blogged for a while, but now that everything's back to normal I'm back to posting every day. Bye for now!

Today's site of the day is: The Crimson room
This is a very addicting game in which you are stuck inside a room and you need to get out. It's very hard, but it took me under an hour. Try it! My friend Bobby (hakuna matata) showed me it.

I got the computer taken away, so I'm not going to be able to post for a while. Sorry!

Today was interesting... I wrote a short story, played with my camera, got told that I was hot, got into some interesting convos, and saw some kid playing with balloons. COOL!!! lol. I guess I should start by saying that the convos are in the quotes section.

Am I hot? Today during italian, I got told that I was hot by Christina. You proboblycool!!!!! don't know here, but she's fairly nice, but I don't really like her (I mean, like her). She seems really nice, but she also seems like a suckup, and NOBODY can even COMPARE to Caitlin :). Anyway, I think the only reason why she said I was hot was because she wanted my seat. WHAT A SUCKUP! lol

I had to write a short story today and I finished it. Once I get the document from school, I'll post it here, but here's the synopsis:
Willard is afraid of the dark, and the lights go out at a movie theatre and his school orchestra concert. Actually, he's afraid of just about everything, and he's been known to overreact to things. What's going to happen to poor ol' Willard? You'll find out... eventually!!

I've been taking blue-tinted pictures everywhere! It's crazy! I can't post any here because they are mostly of people, but I'll also be taking some abstract pics also, so I can post some of them daily.

That's it for now, maybe I'll post more later.

Hello!

Wow! I'm really hyper today! I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo hyper, but I'll have to make tonight's entry fairly short because well, it's after 10:00 and my dad'll be shutting off my internet. I think I'll include one of my photos today, just for the heck of it. It's a fairly pointless picture, just me playing around with buttons on the camera and effects in The GIMP. I guess I should get started.
A water fountain
Hooray for frozen foods!!! When I got home from Boy Scouts today, I found myself very, very hungry. I already had dinner, which was chicken cutlets, but I wasn't sure what to eat as a snack. That's when it hit me, TAQUITOS!!! I can simply stick 4 taquitos in the microwave for 2 minutes, and BAM! Instant yumminess. Yumminess... that's a good word. I'll have to remember that one sometime :)

Two more people tried to steal my screenname today. Damn, are they ever going to stop? I have the e-mail addresses, so I'll sign them up for as much crap as possible.

That's it, I'll blog more tomorrow, because I need to sleep now, g'night!

Today's site of the day: Feedster!

BT is back up!

Wow, I haven't blogged in a long time... Now, this post was originally on Collective Thoughts, but I'm putting it here because it's back up. I have a good amount of stuff to blog about today, so here it goes :).

Friday was my birthday!! I just turned 14 on friday, so I'm thrilled. I didn't have my party yet because I was out friday night with Caitlin and two of her friends. We went to see a school play, which just happened to be Annie. I've always liked Annie, and a few years ago I got to meet Carol Bernett (she's Miss Hannigan in the movie) when she was doing a broadway show. I'm sorry that I'm so messed up today, but I guess you can blame that on my stupidity right now (I'm doing around 40 things at once and it's driving me CRAZY!).

I got a Digital Camera for my Birthday! I'm sooooooooooooo happy now that I can upload some pics. I'm probobly not gonna include any people, but I can include places and stuff like that. Most of them will not look very natural, because I'll probobly do some crazy colorizing, just because I feel like it :). Until I can get some problems with Images on this site (Collective-Thoughts), you're not going to be seeing any of the pics that I take here. I'm sorry :(.

Speaking of my little trademark effect, you're not going to be seeing any tutorials on how to do it, because I'd like to keep that my little secret. All I really do is go wild with the paintbrush and go wild with all of the little features. It's no big deal, but people make it seem like it takes a rocket scientist to do it.

Well, that's it for today! I'll post some more tomorrow (on BT site too, if it's back)

Today's Site of the day is: Out Of Ambit

Well then, I have a good amount of stuff to talk about today, but some wierd stuff happened, which I'll tell you about, but first I'd like to point outThis is just plain... cool! that many more people have been trying to obtain my screenname by using the "Groups Exploit", which isn't really an exploit.

Louis, what is the "Groups Exploit"? Well, I'm glad you asked me that! It's a method that n00bs use to get a screenname. Technically, it isn't really an exploit since AOL knows about it, and they're just keeping it there to get rid of invalid e-mails. What you do, is you sign in on your screenname, and join any group. Then, you invite the people who's screenname you want, and if you get a bounce e-mail back that contains a free e-mail address (like hotmail), you sign up for that address, then you request the password from AOL. It doesn't usually work, and it's just plain annoying. In fact, if anybody uses that method, then they're desperate.

Now for that odd thing that happened... It seems as though somebody got into my WordPress and stuck some jibberish into yesterday's post. I'm sorry if anything else happened that I don't know about, but I'm working on figuring out who this person is because every action on my site is logged, so it shouldn't be too hard. When I figure out the IP, I will post it here for everybody to see.

Today's Site of The Day is Kirupa!
The site of the day is a new little thing that I'm trying out. I might keep doing it for a day, a week, or forever and ever. It all depends on my mood :). It opens in a frame, so if for some crazy reason your browser doesn't support frames, sorry!

Well, I don't really know what to blog about today. I guess I should make this blog extra long because I didn't blog yesterday.

The reason that I didn't blog yesterday was that I was too busy working on the new site (Collective-Thoughts).Lookie! It's all swirliful! You see, for that site we use the same version of wordpress as I do here, but we needed to modify it in little ways. First of all, the Upload script didn't work, so I had to fix that (admin panel). Then, we decided to integrate the ability to post a quote into WordPress's admin panel. We also had to make every single page valid XHTML (1.1). The only problem that we're having is that the quotes page might not be able to work due to the 1.1, but it is valid 1.0, so I don't know...

Remyx.net had a screenname giveaway and apparently, they thought they had my screenname (U12) to give away. It turns out that I cracked it a while before they did, and when Scott got the e-mail (long story), he immediatly changed the password and the e-mail address, so they didn't succeed in getting the screenname. Well, they "gave it away" yesturday, and now I'm getting a ton of e-mails.

My science project doesn't work! The project was to make a vehicle that uses Newton's laws to move 1.5 meters. I decided to attach a propeller to some balloons on a stick thing, and use a rubber band to make it go. Well, it certainly would be able to move, if it didn't spin out of control. The propeller is just meant to give it that initial "push", this way it would be able to keep going. The balloons are filled with Helium, because I have a fairly large tank full of it (fun fun fun)

Sorry!

I'm sorry I didn't blog today, I've been working on Collective-Thoughts.com. I promise that I'll blog tomorrow :)

Well, I just got started on another little project of mine. Bobby, me, and a whole bunch of other people are making a joint blog named "Collective-Thoughts".This is cool! It'll be awesome, because we're going to get a domain name for it and everything. When it's completely done, I'll add a button to the sidebar.

Speaking of the sidebar, I've changed around my site to use php to generate the sidebar and everything else but the content, this way all I have to do is edit one file to make all the pages update. Isn't that awesome? lol, I sure think so! Anyway, Collective-Thoughts uses this technique too, so both sites have a ton in common.

Somebody tried to steal my screenname today using the groups@aol exploit! I feel so special :). Anyway, it didn't work, because I used a real e-mail address, so TOO BAD YOU STINKIN' NEWBIES!!! What's really funny, is that this screenname is stolen to begin with (using VenomCrack). Anyway, this guy had an AOL e-mail address, so I think I'll just post it here, this way the spambots can get to him :). Here it is: "hswimm2005@aol.com". If anybody wants to use it to sign up for porn, go ahead. To make things worse, the guy's group was "WOOT PWNAGE", which is very newbish (bwah ha ha ha, I stole Scott's word).

Ok, Bobby (formerly known as aznbeady) and I are making a joint-blog project because we figured that it would be a fun thing to do. If any of you are willing to do it with us, post your application here. You must be:
Good with computers
Be able to blog well (ex. if you have a xanga, livejournal, weedweb, diary-x, or any other Journal/blog/diary service, you're set)
You NEED to know HTML or XHTML
Some experience with PHP would be nice
Knowing Flash is a definite plus
Linux experience is another definite plus
SPELLING! NO "1337 5p34K"
and anything else you think would look good is good

We're only accepting 3 people, so hurry up! These people should be between the ages of 12 and 16. Here's another thing, these people will not only be selected from here, so yeah.
A page with information on this will be online soon. All people interested will be interviewed via AIM, ICQ, Yahoo, or IRC (NO MSN!! MSN IS EVIL!) and you must be online frequently.

If you want, you can contact us VIA AIM at malignanthoughts or U12.

My mind is completely blank today. I have no clue what to write today, but that might just be because I was on my computer almost all day. I guess I should start my pointless post now, right?

I talked to Caitlin today on the internet. Remember that secret chatroom thingie that I made that I wouldn't give out to ANYONE? Well, she FINALLY went there this morning, and I was sooooooooooooo happy to talk to her. We didn't really talk about much of anything that I should post here, but yeah... right.

Today's my dad's birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!! lol, I'm such an idiot sometimes, but other times, I can be really smart and mature.Cool! Speaking of mature, have you read ay good books lately? I read this great book called "War and Peace". It was quite interesting, but I have to say that it ended a bit too soon. I mean, it was too short. lol, actually, I never read that book, nor do I ever plan to.

I made another wallpaper! It's not as good as all of my others, but it's not TOO bad. It's just a bunch of 3D shiny shapes because I was bored :). oooooooooooooooooooooh shiney! lol, I get distracted too easily, so um.. what was I saying? Oh yeah, 3D shiny shapes. It's up on my DeviantArt page, and it sucks big time, but it is quite intriguing. Look at it.

Only 1 week until my birthday! HOORAH! Next Friday's a double whammy: my birthday, and I'm going to go see "Annie" at my school (they're doing a play thingie). I just hope it's good and isn't just some crappy thing where things are falling apart on the stage, but Caitlin is going to be there and *hopefully* we'll get to sit next to each other. Then, Saturday my entire family's going to come over and we're going to party. I just can't wait until I get my working papers. Then, I might start a web design/hosting company thing so that I can make some cash.

Haha, it's only been a few hours and I miss Caitlin already! I'm so pathetic, but I guess it's ok. You see, I'm not going to see her until Monday, because I have no school tomorrow. I made a special page specificly for her (it's only for her so you can't see it :P). It's just a small chatroom this way we can talk without using the phone and without leaving millions of comments. Caitlin, if you're reading this, PLEASE GO THERE! lol.
Hmm, apparently there's a hole in my blog...
I'm bored out of my mind right now. I have nothing to do! It's sooooooo boring. I'm just sitting here, writing junk that probobly doesn't make any sence. Anyway, hopefully today's blog will be fairly interesting. I don't really have much to talk about, but yeah.

I was just informed of a new movie coming out in (hopefully) 2005. It stars Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka, and the movie's called "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". It's NOT a remake of Willy Wonka. It's supposed to be more faithful to the book, and should be fairly good. It's directed by Tim Burton, so that should be erm... interesting :). It might even film at a real Nestle chocolate factory here in New York. Well then, when it comes out, I definatly want to go see it, but that's just me.

I GOT A "STICKY" from my little sister. I went downstairs to see what she was doing, then I watched her play "InkLink" for a few minutes and she said "I have stickies". She got them from the American Heart Association, and then as I was leaving, she said "You get sticky!" and then stuck a yellow label thingie on me that says "U got sticky!". It was very strange, but then again, I'm strange (AND DAMN PROUD OF IT!).

I'm planning on posting some more stuff later, but for now... Good bye!

Actually, I DID forget what I was originally going to write today, but I think this would be a good entry anyway. Ok, today's entry will start off with a list of things that bug me, so here goes nothing!
This is a piece of my new wallpaper, which I will publish sometime today!
Things that bug me:

  • People who think they're "leet"

  • Billy

  • When I'm wrong

  • When I get less than 100 on a test

  • The white stuff on the outside of oranges

  • People who blog one sentance and call it an entry

  • People who think that Windows is better than Linux, when they haven't even TRIED linux

  • Mosquitoes

  • Fireflys when you're trying to catch them and they JUST KEEP FLYING AWAY!

  • *sometimes* those short-fat kids who *think* they're so cool and are always smiling

  • small woodland animals that climb into your tent when you are camping and scare the shit out of you

  • a lot more stuff, but I can't think of it right now

Ok, something very unusual happened today in Wind Ensamble. Caitlin: if I leave anything out, just let me know :). Anyway, This kid who we call "Beans" because he looks a LOT like Beans from "Even Stevens" was annoying the heck out of Caitlin and I today. So therefore, I decided to chase him around the room. I jumped on his back, and then pulled the back of his shirt over his head this way he couldn't see. Anyway, he ended up taking his shirt OFF and scarring me for life. Then, he apparently gave Caitlin the finger, so she got mad and I ended up chasing him again. After throwing him on the floor a few times, he ended up pinning me against the locker and he looked like he was hugging me. After that, I ended up throwing him across the room due to me getting extremly mad at him (NOBODY CAN HUG ME BUT CAITLIN!!!!). Well then, I ended up getting a very good hug from Caitlin (I love you, Caitlin!!), and now I'm a happy camper.

All righty then! Now, do to ME being stupid (I know I'm not stupid), I don't know what to write about now. I guess that's pretty pathetic, but whatever. That's it for today. Leave comments and well... bye!

I GOT A FLOWER!

| 5 Comments | No TrackBacks

I'm in a very good mood today, which probobly has something to do with me getting a flower from Caitlin today! Yesterday, she made paper flowers out of tissue paper and pipecleaners at a girl scout thingie. I'm in Boy Scouts, so we don't get to do fun stuff like that, but anyway, she gave me a flower, which she sprayed with smelly perfume to make it smell good! It does. Anyway, today's blog entry should be interesting, so I think I'll start soon.

First things first: I made a new wallpaper late last night while I was on Windows working on Space 2.6 (see yesterday's entry). Anyway, it's on my Deviantart (DA) page. There's a link to that page on my navbar thingie over there -------> so if you like it, leave me a comment (not here, on the DA page for my new wallpaper). In case you're too lazy, the wallpaper is here.
They're going to take over!
I think they should give all penguins little jetpacks. Whouldn't that be so cute? I mean, penguins can't fly so all the other birds must be like "Hey, tux (pretend that's the penguin's name) what's up? NOT YOU! HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!" Birdies are mean :(. Anyway, if all panguins had jetpacks, then THEY could fly around too! Of course they might mess up and crash into a glacier or something, then the jetpack would explode: melting the glacier and flooding the world. That wouldn't be too good. But what about the yeties? They always hit penguins with bats and snowballs! The penguin seems to like the snowballs, but I'm not to sure about the bat. Then again, then penguins might decide to attack the yeties and hit them with snowballs, or burn them for that matter. The jetpacks will also aid the penguins in taking over the world (see TPC for more details) Ok, so maybe we should hold off on the whole jetpack thing.

Well then... That's about it for now! I might post a little bit more later, but for now, I'm out!

Well, today was erm.... interesting. I do have a reasonable amount of stuff today, and I'm not exactly sure where to start. I guess I should first tell you that I ACTUALLY remembered to bring my Math homework (that I did yesterday) to school today. I guess I should continue by saying that I forgot my social studies homework. I also guess I'm doing a lot of guessing and I should start now :).

Now, to start from the beginning... Well, first I woke up to one of my favorite radio stations, and stayed in bed until my horoscope came on, which said something about details and that stuff. Then, I layed in bed for a few minutes, and crawl out sleepily (time: 7:03). Then, I realize that it's monday. Then, I realize that I have school. Then, I realized that I get to see Caitlin again. Then, I realize that I'm really slow at realizing things. So anyway, I knock some sense into myself and run into my bathroom before my little sister goes and steals it from me. I use my hair gel and.. wait. Why am I telling you all this? (fast-forward about 10 minutes) I then run out of my house and just catch the bus as it's leaving the stop (time: 7:17) (luckily it always passes my house, so it was ok).

So now I'm at school in first period: Band... We start off the period with some pretty standard stuff: The A flat major scale and Carmen (one of the pieces that we play). I was looking foward to playing The Lion King, because I happen to love that movie (favorite song: Circle of Life). Well then, we start to play it, and the trumpets play their part, and the teacher goes over some stuff. So, then we take it from the beginning of Circle Of Life and the Barry Saxes only have to play one, single, whole note. Guess what? They screw it up. A doorway to another dimension? I was histerical laughing. According to Caitlin, my face was turning red, which NEVER happens. Then they try it again and again until they FINALLY get it right (after about 20 times). When will they learn. I'm not going to be in this much detail for the rest of my classes, so if I forget something that I said was bloggable, just knock me upside the head will ya?

Now, I think it's time for something completely random... First of all, I just want to remind all my reader peoples (all 462 of them) that I DO have forums. They're at LCnet. Now that I'm done with that brief advertisment, I guess I should continue with my entry for today.

Well then... Why not talk about some other stuff? Remember what I said about Billy *perhaps* being nicer to Caitlin and I? Guess what? It's not happening. He's still just as annoying, so why don't you all annoy the heck out of him? His screenname is HackC9. Tell him to stop annoying Caitlin, Kristi, Ashley, Julie, and me. Yeah. That's it.

Do other Dimensions exist and what's in them. I figure that one must be Heaven, and one must be Hell, but what about the rest. The forth is Time. We only exist in four of them (1-4) but what about the others? The fifth for instance, what's in there? I guess one day I might figure this out, but yeah. I'm just a stupid little 8th grader right now (I know, I'm not stupid!), so I'm not even close to figuring that out.

In case you guys don't know, my game Space 2.6 (the full version) is out. you can download it here. Bobby (one of the LCnet admins) is willing to give the person who beats his record (which beat my record) 1,000,000 LCbucks. His record is 4000 points. Beat him, and get the "money".

Oh well, that's about it for today! I think that this post was fairly long enough, don't you agree? lmao, someone just left a comment on my blogsnob ad, which is pretty random. lol.

I had a very boring day. Nothing really seemed to strike me as interesting so don't expect much of an entry today. I did have some intersting quotes to post today, so they're on the "quotes" page. Anyway, today's picture is... how should I put it... Strange, so I guess I should get started.
Looks like a moth.
I'm talking to that Billy kid right now. He seems completely different on the web, but then again he uses an AOL account, and AOL is crap. And holy shit. Did he just say what I thought he said? "i should stop annoying her..." "her" being Caitlin. Now, this is the same guy who annoys her (and I) every single day. He promised that he would stop talking to her for a month, and then he continued to annoy her. Perhaps he'll be nicer now... or maybe not.

I saw the best TV show today. It's called "Mad Mad House" and it's on Sci-Fi every thursday at 9:00 PM (est). Today was a special encore of the first episode and damn, it was awesome. You see, there are 10 people who get to live in a house with 5 very different people: A Vampire, a Modern Primitive, a Witch, a Voodoo Priestess, and a Naturist. I really see no problem with any of these people, because they're just doing what they believe in, which is the same thing we do. The things that they believe in are just slightly more... strange. Now I'm not saying that I like them or anything, but I do not have any problem with them. The show seems to flip-around many of the stereotypes put on these types of people, like Vampires for instance: they CAN be in the sun, they're not afraid of crosses, they're fine with garlic, and they don't sleep upsidedown. They do however practice Astral-Projection and cool stuff like that :), but some drink human blood, and that is just.. wierd.

I believe that's about it! A bit longer than I expected, but not as long as I'd like my posts to be. I'm done for today, so until tomorrow (I can't wait! I finally get to see Caitlin again after two whole days!): I'm out!

liney!Yesterday, I said that Caitlin said that she would visit my blog, and she did. She even left a comment for me which was a very pleasant suprise (I love her more than anything, in case you don't know already :)). I could immediatly tell it was her from what she wrote, but I can't help but wonder why I shouldn't e-mail her. I think I have an idea why, but I shouldn't post it here because she may get mad at me. I'll have to talk to her on monday. In the meantime, I think today I'll have a fairly nice entry to write, so I think I should start now.

Scott's sister was on his computer again today! I know I'm crazy for checking his site every five minutes for a new post, but I can't help it! Anyway, this morning at 12:00, I looked at his blog, and saw that in his webcam, his sister was there! I saved a picture, but I'm not exactly sure if I should post it or not, because it's really none of my business.

Perl is awesome. I just downloaded a SigX perl script, and looked at it, and realized how convienient perl is. I'll have to put it on the list of programming languages that I want to learn.

My sister saw "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" today. I heard that it was good, but don't really want to see it, because it seems like a girly movie. My sister says it was "really really good" and that it wasn't girly, but I don't quite believe her :). I know I'm a bit "off" on my entry today, but I'm doing about a hundred different things, so yeah. I guess that's it for today. I PROMISE I'll blog more tomorrow after I do my math homework.

Oh, and Caitlin, if you're reading this. I responded to you in the comments. That's how I respond to people, not in the actual post, because then things get confusing.

I'm sorry I didn't blog much yesterday, I wasn't really in the mood and it was getting towards the time where my dad turns off the internet. Well tonight's post will be nice and long, AND it'll have 1 extra picture because yesturday I didn't put one up, so I guess I should start now. This pic is awesome!

We might have a special visitor here today. Today my girlfriend (I'm just gonna say Caitlin from now on, because this is getting rediculous) gave me a piece of paper today and told me to write down my website, so naturally, I gave her this site because I don't really have anything to hide. Anyway, she said she'd visit it when her mom lets her on the computer, so Caitlin if you're reading this, I just want you to know that I miss you, and PLEASE leave a comment! Oh, and to make sure nobody's impersonating you, also e-mail me to let me know.

I GOT A 3CHAR TODAY!!! Well, actually I got it days ago, but I didn't realize it until today. You see, I used VenomCrack to get it and I forgot to tell it not to send an e-mail to Scott (yes, the "hot" one) once it cracks a screenname, so he got it. I IMed him today telling him what happened, including the screenname, what the password was,
Another cool picture :) and the number that it was and he gave it to me. lol, I'm so lucky :). Anyway, if anybody wants to IM me on it, it's U12. It doesn't seem to mean anything, but I like it anyway because it's a 3char.

Well, I haven't really taken the time out to say this, but Witch Hunter Robin is the best show next to Inuyasha. I've been watching these shows for a while now. Inuyasha for a few monthes, and Witch Hunter Robin since it came out on Adult Swim. Now that I think of it, I like ALL of the shows on Adult Swim.

Well, I found an interesting article on robotic vacuum cleaners such as the roomba. Don't think I just heard of these things now, because I didn't. I've known about The Roomba for a long time now, but this is the first time I've heard of the Karcher Robo Vacuum Cleaner. Well, before my little summary, I should at least give you a link to where I got the info, so here it is. Well, basicly, all the article says is "Guess what? Robotic vacuums are out and now you don't have to vacuum anymore! Hoorah!" and then it goes into how far vacuums have come since the first vacuum and junk like that.

I'm an AIM newbie? Wow, I didn't realize that. I was talking to Scott before, and he said (and I quote):

U12: oh, and by the way
U12: bobby (malignanthoughts) told me to tell you to blog
rts: i know i know... everyone is telling me to
rts: I have nothing to write about; I have, no life.
U12: you have a life
U12: how could you go to college and not have a life?
rts: you tell me. Here I am talking to aim newbies on a friday night
rts: no offense
U12: hey
U12: sorry
rts: "You know you're an engineer when you have no life and can prove it mathematically"
U12: I may be an AIM newbie, but I'm not a computer newbie
rts: however, don't take my comment "I have no life" to mean that I think it's at all a bad thing. I much accept, like, and thoroughly enjoy my life the way it is =o)
U12: lol, I have no life either, but you probobly have more of a life than I do
rts: I think I'm going to go to sleep. I like friday nights, because I can do what I want
rts: I don't have to stay up late studying...
U12: go ahead
rts: I'm sure we'll talk tomorrow. Nice screen name. good night
U12: g'night

hmm... what's up with that? I suppose I am a newbie to AIM because I still don't know a lot about it, although I've been using it for quite a while now (maybe around 5 years). Well, at least I know tons about computers. Maybe not about the AIM network since it changed, but I use linux, I know XHTML, XML, CSS, some PHP, very little Python, some C++, some Javascript, and that makes a good variety of stuff. Oh well, I'm done for today. Goodnight!

This sucks

Well, I'm not going to post much today. Just a few paragraphs, because it's getting to that time where my dad turns off the internet for me. So I think I'll just cover one topic that's been bothering me today. Here it goes!

I said something wrong today. What meant to be an insult towards some idiot named Billy, came out completely wrong and came out as an insult to my girlfriend and the idiot. You see, I love her more than anything in the world, but I'm not good with words. For instance, yesterday she had her hair in braids because she wanted to make it wavy, which frankly, I don't really mind. I love her the same no matter how she looks. But she seemed to think she looked stupid, and I didn't really think so, but I made it seem like I thought so according to her. Yeah, confuzzling isn't it? Apparently, she found something I said offending, but she didn't tell me that, so I couldn't explain it to her until at lunch. Now today at lunch, I was calling Billy a loser, yet the way I said it, made it sound like I was calling her a loser too! For some reason, things always come out wrong. Well after I said that I didn't mean it that way and that it came out wrong, she seemed fine, but she has a knack for hiding things from me so I don't know if it's bothering her or not. I'm going to have to have a nice, long talk with her on the bus tomorrow.

Well, that's it. I'll have to have a long post tomorrow to make up for this one. I guess I should also put in an extra picture, because I didn't put one into this post. Bye!

Today's blog entry might not be too long. You see, I'm pretty occupied by other stuff, such as thinking :P. But seriously, something's been bothering me,
I just thought that this one was cool! which I'll talk about later. So, I should get started right about now, so that's the end of my pathetic intro thingie.

I didn't know there was a National Stuttering Accociation! I mean, it's SO STUPID yet I heard a commercial on a radio station about this site, westutter.org. I laughed so hard when I heard this commercial, because they were so damn serious! It was so incredibly stupid! A whole organization about stuttering? I think that's just crazy, but whatever. My theory is that these guys are forming a huge, crazy cult that will eventually take over the world with the help of the Amish and Michael Jackson!!! haha, I just had to say that, and if you've read previous posts, you'd understand.

Louis! What was that thing that was bothering you? Well, I'm not going to tell you guys yet, so you'll just have to wait. In the meantime, I'll have to mention another stupid website. Ok, well, OKcounter to be exact! So what Louis, it's just a webcounter site! WRONG! Read the writing carefully:

Not yet have your proper counter?
No find counter mix with your homepage

Several thousands counter skin keep in OKcounter
Every week serveral tens counter skin is registered to okcounter..
This site is made by OKcounter's member..
If you joining okcounter, you will have all this merit

get it? it's so stupid! Well, I showed this to Bobby of Hakuna Matata (not the False-Hopes Bobby) a while ago, and he also blogged about the same thing. Leave it to him to steal a future topic of mine :(

NOW can you tell us? Fine, I'll tell you. You see, my girlfriend suprised me big-time today. I mean, she actually doesn't want me to know something, and I respect that, but for some reason, me not knowing something bugs me. I mean, I love her more than anything on the planet, but I share everything with her, and she should be able to trust me. But then again, she might just be hiding this from me because she thinks it might hurt my feelings, which I don't really care about because I love her, and I like it when people are honest. I dunno, but I consider myself very honest and fair. I mean, I tell her everything, and anything that I don't tell her, she can read right here. Once again, no matter WHAT it is, I'd still love her, and if she wants to keep it private, that's just fine with me, but I'm just curious, you know? There's something I don't know, and it's just bugging the hell out of me. I shouldn't even be wondering about this. I should just shut up and forget all about it.

Well, this is today's post! I'm not sure what exactly to write in this crappy intro, so I should get right to the point, but first I have to mention my nifty quotes page. Well, in case you haven't noticed, I don't really remove bad words or anything, so it should have a little Parental Advisory sticker, but then again society is degrading, so curses are getting more acceptable which is a pretty sad thing to think about.

What's up with the strange title? Well, there's a long story on this one, which is probobly what this whole post is going to be about. Some amputees came to my school today to do a little assembly thing. They were both missing a leg, one had it removed above the knee (his name was Todd), and the other below the knee (his name was Dennis). Well, Dennis was the funniest, but Todd's leg was the coolest, because it had a little valve/hydrolic thingie to let the knee work. They both can run faster than ANYONE that has the same problems as them. In fact, Dennis is only one second slower than the fastest man on the planet! They BOTH hold world records, which I hope to do one day (break a world record). Well, Todd had his leg amputated because he had bone cancer when he was 15, and Dennis lost his leg when he got hit by two cars. The second he said that he was hit by two cars, I was thinking Hmm, this one looks strangly like some sort of bird... "what the hell? how could anybody survive that????" but he did, so he's pretty damn lucky to just have lost a leg. Anyway, he showed us his "running leg", which (since I was in the front) he placed in front of me. Now, our school has an ampitheater, and the leg was sitting on the ledge right in front of me. I was SO close to touching that leg, but knowing my luck, it would have fallen on the floor and shattered into a billion pieces, so I didn't touch it.

And now... for that boring section that has to do with the news! Well, today's news is slightly more interesting (for me) than yesterday's. It comes from this article, which is about a new worm that's going around. It's called "Netsky-D" and I find it quite interesting. The e-mail that it comes in comes in a ton of different subjects, so it's hard to detect. It also uses a pretty clever file-extention (.pif), which some stupid people might confuse with an image or maybe even a pdf. It duplicates itself as soon as it is opened, and sends itself to a ton of other people, which slows down computers and e-mail programs very quickly (slows down quickly? that doesn't sound right).

Well, it's funny what I wrote in my intro right now because "Where is the love?" just came on the radio. What a coincidence! Well I strongly agree with that song, because it IS true by the way. I mean, that there are so many problems in this world today, and it's just incredible. For instance, on the forums at buddy4u.com, there is so much stealing and stupid stuff going on that it isn't even funny. There's ALWAYS a post somewhere that has SOMETHING to do with the bloods or the crips or some crazy gang thing, and it's just sad that people are getting involved in things like this. I really don't know what to do!

Well, that's it for today! this post looks like one of my longest posts yet, so I'm fairly proud of myself. I seriously need to work on the way I blog, because my posts are too short, and sometimes they sound like a badly-written essay. So goodbye for today!

Well, I guess I should blog now. I was originally going to do this tomorrow, but why wait? I'm not exactly sure what to write about, so this post could be very short, or fairly long, so I suppose I should start now, yes? ok.. here goes! This is a swirly thingie!

I'm going to be making some small changes to the way I blog. Ok, as you can tell, every day I like to put one of my original pictures in my posts. Well, sometimes they are from my archives, and sometimes I make them right after I write my daily post. I've already been doing that, but I'm also going to try to write about something (interesting) that has to do with what's going on as far as news, and I'm going to try to squeeze in a little random thought (but not today). I guess this new thing started already yesterday (the news being the review on The Passion).

I guess I should start with some crap about Microsoft. Well, besides them being total *english accent* Bimbos */english accent*, some dudes in europe are getting them in big trouble. Apparently, they were found guilty of "abusing the dominant position of its Windows operating system" (nytimes), which I completly agree with. In fact, their Tokyo office was raided by Japan's Fair Trade Commission because they may have disobayed one of the antimonopoly laws in that country. Now, all of this information was from this article in the New York times.

Cheese is good. Well, that was the first thing that came to mind, and then I asked beady what to blog about randomly today, and he happened to say cheese, so why not? Well anyway, why is cheese the first thing that came to mind? Is it because I used to use it as my passwords a few years ago? Or maybe it's just because I was hungry at the time. Maybe this post will end just like the end of "The Lady or the Tiger?", which is a horrible short story. You know... I think it will.

PARTY!!

Ok, I was out a little bit longer than I planned today. I was going to write this sooner, but I was out all day and uh... yeah. So anyway, I'm planning on covering a few topics, and my own review on The Passion Of The Christ (you should all see it if you're christian, especially catholic). So I guess I should get going, right? Ok, here we go!Now, I have no clue what this is, but I made it a while ago and it looks cool

The Passion Of The Christ was the BEST movie I've seen since The Matrix (it beats The Matrix SOOOOOO much). I think that it was just a movie waiting to happen. Whenever things get unpleasant, just try your best to remember that Jesus went through all of this to let us back into Heaven. Before he died, when WE would die we would go to some crazy place that wasn't heaven, and wasn't hell if you were good. Now you go to heaven if you were good, and hell if you were bad. Anyway, I should get back on topic now. The movie is EXTREMLY bloody, so I don't reccomend bringing small children with you unless they're REALLY mature. I guess it's good for people 12 and older, and long as they can handle themselves. Now, I'm a geek so I'm the person who notices how well this movie was made. Everything fits together perfectly, and the flashbacks were placed in the right spots. Another thing is HOW the movie was filmed: like where the camera was placed and the subtle special effects that look so real (like a worm thing that crawls between Satan's nostrals in the beginning of the movie). BUT you should only see it if you are catholic or at least christan, otherwise it won't mean much to you. It would be more like "ooo look! the Jews are beating him up! Now the romans... now the jews... and look at him carry that cross!" yeah. It's not that good of a movie unless you already know the story.

Where I was today! Ok, here's the part of my daily blog where I tell you what I did today. Well, we were originally just going to go to some crazy museum that's about 2 people (I did a report on one of the guys this year and that earned me $100). So anyway, we got a little side-tracked, and decided "hey! why don't we visit ________ (name taken out)! We haven't seen them in 3 years and we haven't been to their house in 7!" so now we drive another 30 minutes until we reach their house. But of course we HAD to bring cake, so we stopped at a great bakery on the way there. So, you have to remember that I'm 100% italian (born in america), so we HAD to eat. We played video games and had dinner and cake there and it took us th rest of the day. Now this is what happens when you don't see someone for 3 years.

OK, I think I'm done for today. I should stop now before my parents start yelling at me like they did last week. I'll blog again either tomorrow or tuesday. Bye!
