iWars update

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

Ok, well, I have another update to the former n00b wars. It's no longer called n00b wars because all of the episodes aren't going to consist of n00bs. It is now called iWars, "i" meaning internet. It was either this or eWars, and i is a cooler letter. So anyway, the script is almost done, and so far I introduced 3 new characters: Omega, of the BlackHats, Crystal, of the GreyHats, and Frank, of the WhiteHats. These are the reps of Hackers United, or HU. So anyway, we need somebody to play Frank and Crystal. If you want the part, IM me on U12, leave a comment, or email me.

Now, I'm going to start working on the characters tomorrow. Yes, Production is starting. Then I will distribute the script for the first episode, and start recording. Then all I have to do is the animation and design the official website and I'm done. It should come out by this summer. From then on, episodes should be easy to make since I'd already have the character models and sets, so yeah.

Well, usually then I say interesting, it isn't. But this time it is. You see, I wrote a blog entry yesterday but it never got published because I procrastinated and decided to be a procrastix beta tester, and I restarted with this window open. How stupid is that? Well, anyway, here it goes. I'll be covering today and yesterday today. Wow, that sounded weird. I guess I'll also cover some pointless stuff and give you the latest N00b Wars update. So, even though I wrote "here it goes" a few sentances ago, here it goes.

Why is weird spelled so weirdly? I mean, why isn't it wierd, which is how I usually spell it. I mean, it just doesn't look right. Who invented this language anyway?

Speaking of language, I apologize for my language in some of my posts. I know I say words like damn, hell, and shit sometimes, but that's why I rated this site PG. I mean, people hear these words every day at school, at home, on the internet, An aurora? and people (like me) tend to use them a lot because of this. I guess sometimes I also get carried away and say it in front of my teachers, but what's the point of not using the words? Like, now they're used like regular words, so they're not technically "bad". And why do people get so pissed when somebody says a word? I mean, Damn means "to be sent to hell", a bitch is a female dog, Hell is a place, Shit means poop, Crap means poop, and an ass is a body part and an animal. The only "bad" I don't really like is the f-word. I'm not even going into what that one means. Oh yeah, and mom and dad, don't take any offence in this. I'm not actually using them, I'm just talking about them. But seriously, I even have one or two curses in the script for N00b Wars. However I'm planning on taking them out. Most of the time it's the n00bs who say them anyway, and they do that in real life too, so yeah.

So, when is N00b Wars going to be done? Well, I'm guessing sometime in June or July. You see, it's the end of the year, which means more work in school. However, I'm about halfway done with the script, so in about a week I'll be sending it to everyone who's in it. Scott agreed to be his own voice in the cartoon anyway, and he has a pretty good part. He's Scott: The eccentric blogger. I think he fits the part very well.

So, do you still need help with it? YES! I do! If you want to be a voice in it, IM me. Just a notice: TBA is still available guys, so hurry up if you want to be him! Also please remember that the roll of AT LEAST ONE GIRL is available, so girls can volunteer too. If you want to help with character design, you can also IM me if you have Flash MX 2004. All you'd have to do is make a file with JUST THAT character in it and give me the FLA, I'll be able to take care of the movements if the guy's vector. I don't know if I should do this in stickmen style, anime style, or just your average cartoon style. I'm not very experienced with anime, so that's not going to happen (most likely). You can also simply e-mail me some suggestions!

Something happened in school yesterday. It's not a good thing. Somebody found a bottle of gatorade mixed with alcohol in the locker room. Don't worry, it was reported to the gym teacher, but that means that there ARE in fact people in our school that drink, and it's only a middle school! It's rediculous!

Well, I'm done for now. I don't know if I'll blog more or not. The answer is probobly going to be not, so I'm out! See ya!

Well, I decided to make some changes on the pages on the menu. Instead of the pages being in the same category as "Home", they are now right below the calender. I did this because now the pages are updated by the same script as the script that updates the affiliate buttons.

Speaking of Affiliate buttons, I'm open for affiliates once again. If you e-mail or IM me with your website and your 88x31 button, I'll give you my button. Please note that once I see my button on your site, I'll add yours to mine. I'm working on getting a "Become an Affiliate" page up, but that won't be up for a day or two because I'm working on that cartoon.

Well, now that I'm talking about that cartoon, I have an update for you guys. It's no longer called "Space 2.6: When n00bs attack". It is now "N00b wars: When n00bs attack" and I'm planning on more than one episode. However, it's not based on that Space game anymore, because well... the game's pathetic. So anyway, I started on the script for this episode, and it should be done soon. Then it's time for the casting. I already have my friend Bobby Z. in it, and Bobby (false-hopes) might do it also. However, I still need some more people, and at least one girl would be nice (If I don't have at least one girl in the cartoon, it may appear sexist). I'm also going to ask Scott if he wants to play himself. Hopefully, he'll do it and I won't have to be him in it. That would really suck.

At school...

Well, I'm blogging from school today. For some reason, I was REALLY hyper. When I say REALLY, I mean it. I mean, I was hopping around and acting stupid all over. Hell, even Caitlin noticed! Actually, it wouldn't be too hard for her to notice because every 10 minutes I'd say "I'm Hyper". Well, when I'm hyper, I've been known to do crazy stuff.

Yesterday, I was at my grandma/cousin's house. Yeah, they live together. Don't ask, it's a long story, Wow, this is awesome but anyway, out back there's a school that isn't used anymore and some neighborhood kids built a biking course thing. Well, I brought my mountainbike that day and let me tell you this: it was awesome. I went flying quite a few times. It was sooooooo funny. Here's how it happened: I was on my bike going over a jump. However, I was going too fast and I forgot to stand up so that the back wheel can get off of the ground, and I forgot to pull back so the front wheel hit the ground before the back wheel hit and I lost control. My handlebars spun around and I was thrown off my bike like a blind man riding an ostrich. Haha, that's original.

This kid keeps asking me stupid questions about hacking. He wants to crack dreamweaver, and I simply don't say anything. Why doesn't he just remove windoze and switch to Linux, this way he can use BlueFish. Or, why doesn't he use TSW webcoder? Oh well, this is stupid.

Wow, another blogging site! Well, today's site of the day is a site called tabulas. It's another free blog site, except this one is a LOT cooler. I haven't used it, but I looked at some blogs and they were very impressive. Want a link? Here you go!
Open it framed or in a new window.

I'm not going to say much tonight, but I will say this. For all of you LOTR fans, I found this site. It has all of the LOTR movie transcripts, so I think you'll really enjoy it.

Talent show!

| 2 Comments | No TrackBacks

Well, my school had a little 2 1/2 hour talent show. Ok, so it wasn’t so little. It was rather long, but even though some of the people had no talent, others were really good. For example, the first group was some girls dancing to that Hey Mickey song. They stunk. Then, the second group up was a band (they have a purevolume account, but I’m not saying their name). They were playing a song by Thrice. That also sucked. Actually, I only had two reasons for coming. Ring? The first was because Caitlin was playing with the Jazz Band, and the second is that I happen to like the Talent Show. Well, the singers were generally good, and the Jazz band was really good (although Caitlin doesn’t think so). However, one person sang “My heart will go on", and if you know me, you know that I love that song and it always makes me cry. That person did a REALLY good job with it. I see singing in her future.

A while back, Nicole (another one of Caitlin’s friends) was joking about making a sign for Caitlin for the talent show. Well, I sat next to her during the show, and she scribbled up a sign, and when Caitlin got on, she laughed (she didn’t think we would really do it). Well, we got a good laugh out of that.

I made some more wallpapers! I don’t have any idea when I’m going to release them, but it’ll be soon. The first one is another awesome fractal flame creation, and the second is a fairly cool 3D one. The second one doesn’t have much going on. I’d show you it, but I’m not done yet ;).

My watch froze today. Yes, it literally froze. Why? I don’t know. I was sitting there in social studies when I looked down to see the time and noticed that nothing was moving. This is very strange because my watch is digital, so it wasn’t the battery. So anyway, none of the buttons worked so I took my watch off, held the strap, and slammed it against the table. It beeped 3 times and then worked fine. Very cool... What the heck happened? I seriously think that this is a Microsoft watch.

What’s with Microsoft and SuSE? Well, if you have been keeping up with the latest linux news, you should know that SuSE was bought by Novell, which is a really big awesome company. Ever since that happened, Microsoft has been after them because this is a huge threat to their OS monopoly. You see, Novell has the resources to create the best OS ever, which would most likely result in the downfall of microsoft. Anyway, Microsuck hired that guy who talked some german towns into using SuSE and is now using him to try to get those towns back. What’s going to happen? Well, time can only tell, but I’m seeing what could be the downfall of the Microsoft empire in the future.

I switched Desktop Enviornments again. Yeah, for all you Linux geeks out there who know what I’m talking about, I switched to Ximian. I figured it would be good because I use SuSE, which is owned by the same company (Novell, which I talked about earlier). By the way, this is another reason why Microsoft is scared: because Ximian is so incredibly user-friendly. It’s like a mac desktop for pete’s sake! Awesome, very awesome.

Hey guys!

I saw the funniest flash movie today. It was The Exorcist in 30 seconds (and re-enacted by bunnies). If you want to see it, you can find it at this site. I believe you’ll like it.
This sort of looks like a cloud or a nebula...

Speaking of movies, remember Space 2.6? Well, I’ve decided that soon I’m going to make a series of Flash videos to go along with it. I figured I’ll start on it in may, and it’ll be my first publicly available flash movie. I guess I’ll give you a quick sample:
The planet is being invaded by n00bs, and a local anti-newbie group decides to shoot down their ships since the n00bs don’t know anything and cant even fire back.
I figured that that is a good start. I still have some time.

Please tell people about this site! Listen: I haven’t been getting as many visitors as I used to, so I need some more. If you like this site, please tell other people about it! If you do, it will be greatly appriciated.

Ok, I realized that my old layout works better on IE, so I updated it a bit and re-uploaded it as the “Internet Explorer” version. If you want to use it, click the link on the main page. Thank you!

They’re coming… AHHHHH THE n00bs ARE COMING!!! Today, I got a bunch of IMs that asked “Who are you". I mean, right in my profile it says not to IM me unless you have something interesting to say. So, THEY’RE IDIOTS!!! Anyway, if you want to IM me and you do have something interesting to say, my screenname is U12. If you have nothing interesting to say, don’t IM me. Thank you and have a nice day.

Ok, here’s the deal. I know I haven’t been blogging, but I had tons of stuff to do, and the IE image problem to solve, so today’s blog should be OK, since now I have an IE version. However, I’ll be blogging like normal starting today.

So, my cousin IMs me and needs AIM cracker help. He wants to learn how to crack passwords, so I point him to VenomCrack. He’s probobly the biggest idiot on the east coast, and he was so confused. Anyway, on the phone I talked to him, and it turns out that the installer is demented. Go figure.

Update!!

I’m still stuck on windoze, but tomorrow I’ll be back on linux. However, I recently uploaded a jpg image, and IE couldn’t display that either. Swirliful! What the hell is going on?

I’m really starting to get fed up with IE but if you can see the picture in this post, my little workaround worked :). If not, GRRRRRRR! I hate IE. It’s probobly the worst browser in the universe, and I have no clue why it doesn’t like my pictures. I’m going to send some angry e-mails to Microsoft, and if they don’t fix IE, I’ll go to california ad beat the shiznit out of Bill Gates.

I’m done with my project! It is now 11:17 pm, and I just finished my project, which means that I can get back on Linux! Hoorah!

First, some updates. So, I’m on Windoze right now blogging because I’m also working on a project that requires Publisher. Anyway, I opened IE to see if my site was up, and I realized that certain pictures on my site don’t work! Now, in Firefox, they work fine! Once again, it’s IE’s stupidity. I mean, the programmers for micro$oft are so pathetic! They can’t even get images to work and my site IS W3C compliant, so I have no clue what’s going on. Trust me, I’m working on a workaround, but I guess until then I’ll have to not use any alpha transparency (my next layout might have it) and not interlace my PNGs.
Hmm, I made this in Windoze
I’ll finish this when (if?) I get back on linux later when I’m done with my work.

–later on–

OK, so I’m not done yet, but I’ll tell you guys what I did today. A few guys from my Boy Scout Troop and I went on an oversized obstacle course that’s 20-40 feet off of the ground. Well, that’s not what THEY call it, but that’s what it is. Basicly, you have a rope attached to you, and you have to walk across wires, logs, and up skinny little ladder thingies that are all suspended in the air. Then, you get to a 40 foot tall tower, and you use the zipline thingie to get down. It’s the funnest thing in the universe.

hmm.. I guess that’s it.
Bye!

haha

Trig is fun!

Ok, I’m not going to post much tonight, but I will post this link:
Soh-Cah-Toa

It’s the bestest thing in the world

I’ve also decided to include this for your personal enjoyment:

Woman Accidentally Deletes Internet
Chaos reigned yesterday when it emerged that Boston, Lincs housewife, Ava Pelter, had accidentally deleted the Internet.

“I can’t believe what happened,” the 41 year-old mother of two sobbed. “I went to delete a letter to my sister from the desktop, but I must have been distracted. Next thing I knew the Internet was in the Recycle Bin.”

Almost immediately millions of people were left high and dry as the Internet vanished.

“I was, like, surfing the Net for entirely work purposes,” said road sweeper John Garner. “Suddenly my connection failed, and I couldn’t, er, examine the pictoral evidence supporting my theory that female road sweepers work harder with less clothes on.”

“I was in the middle of an important email conversation,” Yale professor Martin Klunes added. When pressed further, Klunes admitted his ‘important’ conversation was sent between himself and WashedUpActors Entertainment. Klunes had been hoping to book ex-Monkee Davey Jones for his wedding reception, but the plans were left up in the air by the sudden loss of the Net mid-way through delicate negotiations.

“My fiancee will be devastated,” Klunes added.

Already experts are divided as to the actions to take to restore the Internet and - more importantly - ensure it is never accidentally deleted again.

“We’ll have the rebuild the Internet piece-by-piece,” noted Internet expert Carol Vorderman posited. “Of course, if my Internet books had been made compulsory purchases, this would never have happened.”

“Pelter should try hiring a data-recovery specialist,” computer programmer and social misfit Joseph Lincoln argued in turn. “The cost of retrieving all that data will run into the gazillions, but it would act as a hard lesson to Pelter - and other non-Internet experts - to leave the Net to those more qualified to surf it, such as adolescents, computer experts and hot babes looking to share their wares with the world.”

“Why doesn’t she just drag it out of the Recycle Bin?” Pelter’s husband, Kevin, suggested to the shocked audience of experts.

The Internet is now up and running again. Experts refused to reveal how it was recovered, but claimed to have spent long hours devising the solution. Kevin Pelter was unavailable for comment.

I got it from nickpeers.com

Ok, in case you haven’t noticed, the URL to this site changed. I stuck some redirects on the old site, so you will be redirected to here. This new host is great, and once I get a button from my host, I’ll put it in my powered by section. Anyway, please update your bookmarks with the new URL (//). Thank you.

Ok, so I wasn’t taking a break from my computer, I was in Florida. I’m very sorry for lying, but I had to. My daddy made me :(. Anyway, we drove down there, went to Disney and Anna Maria Island. So, I have quite the story to tell.

I guess I will start from the drive to Disney. It took a total of 2 days, and we stopped at a few places to eat along the way (“Shoney’s” rocks!). Pretty boring. However, we brought along one of those little DVD players, so I was sitting there watching movies. Still, pretty boring. But then, we saw something that most people will never see. It was the single most amazing thing about the car ride there. It was… a Hawaii licence plate!!!! Now how the heck did that get there? What’d they do, carry a car to the east coast via plane? Wow.

Disney rocks!!! So, we stayed at this resort called “Coronado Springs”; in Disney, which is supposed to be in Mexico. The pool was awesome, and I was very happy to swim once again. Anyway, we got a Park Hopper which allows us to go to any of the 4 main parks as much as we want for any 4 days. On the first day, we went to Animal Kingdom, MGM, and Magic Kingdom swirly! (at 10:00pm-12:00). In fact, we went to Magic Kingdom every night at that time. Animal Kingdom sucked, it was like an overdone zoo even though they said that it wasn’t. The lines for the rides that they did have were rediculously long, and the FastPass line was also long, so we left and went to MGM. At MGM we went on all of the simulators, some cheezy rides, we saw that muppet thing, and I would have gone on Tower Of Terror if the line wasn’t as long as it was. We ate dinner at the “50’s Primetime Cafe”, and then when MGM closed, we went to Magic Kingdom. At magic kingdom, we fought our way through all the people who were leaving and who were watching the fireworks (Wishes), because we didn’t really care about the Fireworks. We went on the haunted mansion, and a few other rides, and at 12, right after we went on the Buzz Lightyear ride about 5 times (my dad loves that one), we left.

On day 2, we went to Epcot and Magic Kingdom. I can’t really tell about everything that we did at Epcot because practicly nobody was there so the lines were nothing. The only long line was “Mission: SPACE”, which I got a fastpass for. My dad, my mom, and my little sister all chickened out, so we had 3 extras. We gave those away and I still say that we should have sold them. Anyway, it was awesome, and I was suprised that I didn’t get sick. Well, if I did get sick I wouldn’t be able to do anything because my barf bag was missing and I could barely lift my arm anyway. I ended up being Navagator, which is the hardest job since you need to push the buttons while the ship is moving (well, the ship is always moving, but you have to push the buttons at the most intense points). I think that they were plotting this, because I was the youngest one on my team. I mean, everyone else were adults and were twice my size. When I got off, I was a little confused at first, but then I realized where I was and was able to stand. my dad was waiting for me outside, and I sadly wasn’t able to go through the advanced training because he rushed me out of there.

My sister ruined the 2nd day. She wanted a hair wrap soooooooo badly, and Dad took her to the boardwalk outside of epcot and told my mom and I to wait outside the Living Seas until they get back. Guess what? It took 2 hours because of some idiots who cut in front of my sister. Anyway, because of this, we lost the last 2 hours erm.... right. of the day there. We were going to eat dinner at Mexico, but it was overpriced so we walked out and went to Magic Kingdom.

We ate at the Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, which was awesome since it was a buffet and we could see the fireworks. We stayed in ther eating until 11:00, and then went on Pirates of the Carribean (the ride that the movie was based on) and Buzz Lightyear since we had less than an hour left.

We left disney the next day because we wanted 2 days left for the next time we would go there. We then picked up Grandma and headed for Anna Maria Island, which is a beach-island thingie not far from the Carribean. They had some pretty awesome food there (mostly carribean) and I ended up with a ton of sunburn (ahhh!). I didn’t really do much there but lay on the beach, sleep, and swim… a lot.

The ride home was a nightmare. It was very, very boring, and horrible. Rain sucks. We ate Easter Dinner at “Shoney’s” and lunch the first day at “Sonny’s”. The second day we had no dinner and we ate lunch at some crazy 60’s diner.

OK, I’m done and I think that was my longest post yet. weeeeeeeeee. Anyway there’s a thunderstorm now and I have to go. Bye!

I’ve decided to take a little break from the computer. It should only last about a week (I’ll blog again probobly next monday), because it’s for the easter break. I figured I should spend it AWAY from my computer, so yeah. I won’t be on AIM, and I won’t blog unless I crack and decide to go against my decision which is highly unlikely. Yes, I got this idea from Scott, but I figured that it was a good one so why not?

I’m looking for a new host. As you can see, this host is starting to get very slow and unreliable. I’ve been getting too much Benign Thoughts v2.0 is here downtime lately and my bandwidth will probobly run low this month because last month I was very close to breaking the limit, so I need a new free host that has PHP, mySQL, FTP access, no-ads, at least 50 megs of space, and at least 5000 megs (5 gigs) of bandwidth. I know this is a lot to ask, but if worst comes to worst, this site will be down for a very, very long time. If this happens, expect me to post on Collective-Thoughts for a while, or I may move my site there if I don’t get a new host. If you have any offers for me, e-mail me at “louis (at) benignthoughts.f2o.org". If you have no offers, don’t bother :)

Shit. I think something is wrong with my computer. Yeah, the battery’s dying on me, so I need to replace it. I’ll post some more later once I change my battery :).
Ok, done with the battery. Now I think I’ll continue.

Teachers are weird. Some are complete hypocrytes, for instance: my math teacher: he says that we are too competitive when him and the rest of my teachers always make bets. Hell, he’s even on the volleyball team. A long time ago (in november), him and the science teacher played with tennis balls in the middle of Social Studies class right in front of us when they were supposed to be teaching because the social studies teacher was off doing something. Here’s another example: in health, the teacher made someone I know (Chris) dance in front of the class to ASOB (arrogant sons of bitches). Speaking of which, most people don’t know this, but I am in fact a ska fan.

I figured that I’ll stay up all night tonight, so I might post more later. If I don’t, I got lazy.

Well, I just finished working on the new layout. As you can see, it's not much different than the old one. It's actually based on a premade template that I found, and I had to modify it a lot to work with my index.php file. I also edited the graphics and all that junk. Anyway, isn't it cool???? haha.

APRIL FOOLS!! So, how do you like my little joke? No, I wasn't arrested, and I wasn't shut down. lol, I hate Microsoft.

Sorry, I have no time left to blog because my Social Studies teacher lost my DBQ and I have to redo it or else I get to stay in detention with her for 2 hours instead of spending an hour in website club with Caitlin (if I'm lucky). Sorry :(

By the way, I took down the joke.
