Alright, so if you’ve been active in the blogging community, you’d know that Wordpress was found to have crazy, advertising, deliberate, spam articles on it. Many places and people jumped all over Matt, the lead developer or whatever of Wordpress. Well, it’s true that he placed the articles on his page, but only for the good of the Wordpress project. This recent post on photomatt.net is his explaination for why the ad-articles were on Wordpress to begin with. If you want to see the original article on The Register, it’s right here, to save some googling troubles.
Heh, what the hell is this? If you go to google’s site right now (I’m not sure if it’ll be up tomorrow), you’ll see a link to a drink called Google Gulp. Yes, it’s an april fools joke, but in real news, Google is upgrading all gmail accounts to 2 gigabites of storage. Yes, they’re doubling the storage in honor of Gmail’s birthday. That’s not it though. As they get more storage, they’re going to keep boosting the storage for the users. Their goal is to be able to offer an unlimited amount of storage for email.
But that’s not all, folks! HA! You thought I was done? Well, I’m not. Google added another feature to gmail. Its name is Rich. Rich text formatting, that is. Yeah, now you can use colors, boldness, italics, underlines, and all those annoying things you hate to get in your inbox. Hoorah. No, this doesn’t work in Opera, but if you use Opera, you shouldn’t care about rich text anyway.
OH NO! I gave in. I resized my old winblows partition and I put it in my bootloader. Why? Well, I recently upgraded my RAM (I had 256 and I bought a 512. Sadly, the 256 was really two 128’s, so I got gyped out of 128 megs) so I decided to install TS2: University on my own computer so I don’t have to bug my little sister. It’s worth it, but I hate winblows, and I’ll still use Linux… unless I’m playing The Sims 2.
I got Hackers and Painters from the library, so I plan on alternating between reading that and Mostly Harmless. I heard good things about Hackers and Painters, so that’s why I’m reading it.
Sorry guys, no April fools joke this year, but next year there might be one… who knows. Anyway, that’s all for tonight, goodnight!
[edit: I accidently put in Google Glurp instead of Google Gulp... haha]

I can’t read your blog ’cause of the color contrast and small type.

Whoa, I’m first for google glurp? That’s really cool. I even beat google themselves. Sadly, it’s google gulp, not google glurp… lol

Len W. sorry for ignoring your comment. It was moderated by my spam filter. I haven’t gotten any other complaints besides yours. What’s your screen resolution? Maybe you should try adjusting the brightness and/or contrast on your monitor, it shouldn’t be hard to read at all.
